Sometimes I hear from a couple and I literally almost burst inside. When Jacy first contacted me and told me she was getting married in her parent’s backyard with a beach first look, I just knew I had to be her wedding photographer. She used the words “lots of greenery, “surrounded by trees and flowers” and “twinkly lights” and I was SOLD. 

The day began with Jacy and her girls toasting champagne on an amazing vintage couch in her backyard. A few minutes away the guys were savouring cigars. The day was peaceful and quiet, giving me time to capture some of the amazing details that Jacy had prepared. Some of my favourite details: Jacy’s ring and her bouquet of greenery. Her dress was also stunning and the blue suits were right on trend.

One of the highlights of the wedding was definitely the beach first look. Jacy’s parent’s neighbours were kind enough to allow us to use their beach. Andrew sat, waiting patiently as Jacy approached him from behind. They could hardly contain their excitement! After some sunny and windy pictures on the beach we traveled to The Doctor’s Inn to take advantage of their beautiful grounds. The lawns were immaculate and included several ponds and willow trees, Jacy’s favourite.
