2019 was absolutely one of my best wedding years yet. This is 2019 in Pictures – weddings. It was lighter in volume than 2018 but much more peaceful and for that, I was really, truly grateful. It included destination weddings in California, Mexico and Nova Scotia (times two). In total, I shot 27 weddings. My most intense season was shooting 5 weddings in the span of less than two weeks at the beginning of August. I spent pretty much every single evening from May to early November editing and I delivered just over 41,000 images to my clients in 2019.
From beach weddings to a wedding that started with an epic thunderstorm to a veil blowing off a bride’s head in the middle of a first look, it was all pretty epic. There was a lot of rain this year! I got to shoot the wedding of a dear friend and capture two weddings in my favourite place – Nova Scotia. I signed marriage documents at an elopement in the Redwood trees and followed a brass band as it led the bride and groom out of their ceremony and into the Distillery.
As always, it would be impossible to choose a favourite. Each day was wonderful in its own way and so without further ado, 2019 in Pictures – Weddings.
